A major recruitment challenge for the IT & ITES sector is the problem of prospective employees providing fake work experience certificates during job applications. This affects the quality of the workforce, and for a sector whose productivity is primarily dependent on the skills and knowledge of its workforce, it's a severe problem.

CRP was chosen by one of the biggest names in this sector to help address this issue.

Solution

CRP analyzed the fake experience data provided by the client. After a detailed investigation, CRP uncovered an entire network of fake companies that provided fake experience certificates. Some of CRP's 'on field' investigative team members approached these businesses posing as prospective candidates seeking fake experience certificates to get jobs in reputed IT companies. They recorded their conversations and/or took photographs of the setups to add evidence against these businesses. A database of these fake companies and people who have obtained fake certificates from these companies was created.
